Lee was born July 8, 1922, Woodhull, Steuben, New York.
In Oct 12, 1942 he enlisted to the air corps.
In 1943 he arrived in England to join the 401st BG
His last mission, Apr 11, 1944, Target: Sorau, Politz, thier plane was on fire.
Only 2 men survived when the plane blew up in the air.
He was awarded with an Air Medal and a Purple Heart Medal

Mission to Politz, Poland, after being hit by flak, the plane had no 2 engine on fire.
They crashed near Isernhagen, Germany.
Lee attended Woodhull High School and graduated in 1939.
He was employed by Ingersoll-Rand Compagny of Painted Post, NY.
He worked as a machinist from March 1941 untill October 1942.
In Feb, 1943 Lee entered the Army Air Force Pre-Flight School at Selman Field, Monroe, CA.
He married to Miss Nellie Matrone, July 10, 1943, in Texas.
His wife was a first grade teacher in the Painted Post School.
He recieved his wings in August 1943 at Selman Field in Louisiana
