     Browning was born Dec 2, 1922, Blackburn, Jefferson, Oklahoma.
     When he was 17 he and his brothers moved to Mecca, Riverside, California.

     In Aug 27, 1942 he enlisted to the Air Corps.

     In 1943 he arrived in England to join the 401st BG.
     His last mission, May 7, 1944, Target: Berlin, the plane was hit by fighters.
     A/C dropped down and back from its position, No 2 engine feathered and crashed east of Celle, Germany.

     He was awarded with an Air Medal and a Purple Heart Medal.

     In 1944, when Browning died on the age of 21 he left behind his family :

         His father, R L Grimmett, age 70
         His mother, Lillie Grimmett, age 61
         His brother, William Grimmett, age 31
         His brother, Wayne Grimmett, age 27
         His brother, Herbert Grimmett, age 25
         His brother, Boyd Grimmett, age 20
