     Wayne was born in 1915, Claremore, Rogers, Oklahoma.
     On Nov 5,1940, he enlisted to the aircorps.

     In 1943 he arrived in England to join the 401st BG
     His 3rd and last mission, Feb 4, 1944, Target: Frankfurt, after dropping bombs the plane was hit by flak.
     They believed to have crashed in the North Sea as no evidence of their crash or bodies were ever found.

     He was awarded with an Air Medal and a Purple Heart Medal

     In 1944, when Wayne died on the age of 28 he left behind his family :

         His father, Sam H Goodwin, age 66
         His mother, Mary Estell Goodwin, age 58
         His sister, Jewel Goodwin, age 38
         His brother, Harley Goodwin, age 35
         His brother, Bert Goodwin, age 31
         His sister, Louise Goodwin, age 30
         His brother, Paul Goodwin, age 23






Mission to Frankfurt, germany, At 12:25 the ship was seen to lose altitude and gradually fell back from the formation.
No one knows what happened but the ship did not return to base.
